HEY HO LET'S GO TO JOEY RAMONE PLACE *****
It's finally happening! The city of New York got off it's
broke ass and set a date
for the placing of the street sign that will proclaim to the
world there is a corner in New York City named after our beloved
Joey. It will take place
SUNDAY,
NOVEMBER 30, AT 1 PM
We
think it's the perfect spot to honor Joey since it's half
a block away both from CBGB, the BOWERY joint that saw the
beginning of the Ramones career, and the "Ramones Loft"
on SECOND STREET
that Joey, DeeDee and I shared in the 70's .
So that's where you have to go to be a witness of this historical
event:
THE
CORNER OF SECOND STREET AND THE BOWERY
There
will be a celebration at CBGB, at this time there are no plans
for any bands to perform, instead there will be speakers and
testimonials from Joey's friends, family and fans.
