The 2013 CBGB Festival will be presenting emerging artist showcases with 700 performers in over 150 venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn on October 10, 11 and 12.
MOTU is an indie NY-based acoustic & vlectric/Blues-Roots recording artist and singer-songwriter performer. MOTU's fan club is worldwide and is growing fast, as demonstrated from MOTU's over 145,000 song plays on MySpace and the over 75,000 self-produced indie CD. MOTU's CDs have received rave reviews including from Elmore Magazine, the defacto journal of the blues.

CBGB (Country, BlueGrass, and Blues) was a music club at 315 Bowery
at Bleecker Street in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. Founded
by Hilly Kristal in 1973, it was originally intended to feature its
namesake musical styles, but became a forum for American punk and New
Wave bands like Ramones, Misfits, Television, the Patti Smith Group,
Mink DeVille, The Dead Boys, The Dictators, The Fleshtones, The Voidoids,
The Cramps, Blondie, The Shirts, and Talking Heads.
