CBGB Festival: Music Showcases

The 2013 CBGB Festival will be presenting emerging artist showcases with 700 performers in over 150 venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn on October 10, 11 and 12.

Lachi and Meridian Gold

Lachi's debut album distributed through EMI/Caroline in '10, has been on CBS Radio, Oprah Radio, CW News, MTVIggy, NPR, The Onion, Spin Earth and a host of others, receiving major TV and radio airplay. The band's positive vibe and message landed them opening spots with Patti LaBelle, Questlove (The Roots), and Fred Armisen (SNL), among others. They've performed at SxSW, CMJ, and many notable venues including NYC's Joe's Pub and Milwaukee's Henry Maier Festival Park. Lachi's "Bug Out" has been featured on Amplifier.com, NME, featured in Undergournd Station Shoe Stores and Current TV, and she and the band are currently finishing up upcoming album "Make Some Noise."
