CBGB Festival: Spirits Festival

The 2013 CBGB Festival will be bringing a new twist to the music conference/festival arena with a full day of a Spirits Festival that will incorporate some the best artisan spirits distillers. There are an increasing number of whiskeys coming from small distillers. Be it the "classic brown whiskey" we all know and love to newer "white whiskeys" that are making their mark. CBGB Festival looks to expose some of the best in today's spirits world.

About CBGB

CBGB (Country, BlueGrass, and Blues) was a music club at 315 Bowery at Bleecker Street in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. Founded by Hilly Kristal in 1973, it was originally intended to feature its namesake musical styles, but became a forum for American punk and New Wave bands like Ramones, Misfits, Television, the Patti Smith Group, Mink DeVille, The Dead Boys, The Dictators, The Fleshtones, The Voidoids, The Cramps, Blondie, The Shirts, and Talking Heads.
